Mr. Glenn J. Gullo, CPA, MBA, CEAC
Glenn J.Gullo, president of Home Safe LLC, has twenty-seven years of progressive business experience. Mr. Gullo co-founded Home Safe in 2000 to modify homes for the elderly and individuals with special needs. Mr. Gullo is a Certified Environmental Accessibility Consultant (CEAC) demonstrating his knowledge of design and construction in the field of handicap access.
Prior to forming Home Safe Mr.Gullo was employed by a publically owned health care company which grew from approximately $100 million to $700 million of annual revenues during his time with the organization. He started with the company as the regional controller for the southeast region and later was promoted to the Vice President of Medical Supplies and Support Services. Prior to joining the public company he was the chief financial officer of a privately held health care medical equipment and supply company.
Mr. Gullo is a C.P.A. with thirteen years of public accounting experience with a large international accounting firm. As a senior manager he audited and consulted for both privately-held and publically-held companies. During his tenure Mr.Gullo participated on several private and public offerings including initial public offerings. His public accounting experience spanned a variety of industries including high-tech, health care, not-for profit and real estate.
Prior to his public accounting experience, Mr. Gullo worked in the banking industry where he was a commercial bank lending officer.
Mr. Gullo obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in accounting and finance from Florida Sate University in 1977 and has a graduate degree holding a Masters of Business Administration from Nova Southeast University.
Mr. Gullo is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past president and member of the board of directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, Inc. and past member of the Family Care Medical Center advisory committee.
Mr. Francis E. Farley
Mr. Francis (Ward) Farley co-founded Home Safe in 2000 because of a genuine concern for the elderly and individuals with special needs. Mr. Farley is a long-time resident of the Tampa Bay area and has been involved in the medical supply and medical equipment business for twenty-three years. He also co-founded Spectrum Health Services, Inc., a medical supply and pharmaceutical company, which provided products, and services to the long-term care industry.
Prior to forming Spectrum Health Services, Mr. Farley was in the operations department of a large multi-state durable medical equipment company. He began his career in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Tampa in 1983. He was promoted from store manager to area manager in 1983 and managed the operations of six branch offices on the west coast of Florida. In this role he had oversight of inventory, warehousing, distribution, delivery and service personnel. Mr. Farley left the durable medical equipment company in 1987 to form Spectrum Health Services.
As an owner and Vice President of Operations of Spectrum Health Services, Mr. Farley helped grow the company from start up to $17 million dollars in annual revenues. In his role at Spectrum, Mr. Farley was in charge of five distribution sites in three states. In a series of transactions Spectrum was sold to a multi-state public company where Mr. Farley accepted the position of Medical Supply Program Director. Under Mr. Farley’s direction the program expanded to six distribution sites across the country.
Mr. Farley is active in civic and community activities.
